Transferring programs and files to/from the M20
The Olivetti M20 uses a proprietary disk formatting system which makes difficult to share data between this computer and other systems. There are actually several techniques useful to transfer files and programs to/from the Olivetti M20.
The first possibility is to work with disk images. This can be very useful when you need to transfer a whole disk at once.

Finally, it is possible to connect a Gotek floppy drive emulator directly to the Olivetti M20, to replace a standard disk drive. This way, the computer will use disk images on an USB stick:
